Poultry
Processing Plant

A poultry processing plant receives fully grown broiler birds from farms and carries out controlled slaughtering, dressing, cleaning, and chilling.
Birds are first inspected, then stunned, bled, defeathered, and eviscerated. The carcasses are washed, quality-checked, graded, and either cut into parts or packed as whole birds.
Strict hygiene, food safety standards, and cold-chain control are maintained throughout the process before the final products are sent to distribution.

Poultry Breeder Shed

A breeder shed houses parent birds under controlled conditions for mating and fertile egg production.
The shed manages temperature, lighting, feeding, and male–female ratios to ensure high fertility.
Eggs are collected several times a day, cleaned, graded, and sent to the hatchery.
Strict biosecurity, health monitoring, and record-keeping are maintained to ensure consistent, high-quality fertile eggs for chick production.

Poultry Feed Mill

A feed mill is a crucial component throughout the chicken processing value chain because it produces nutritionally balanced feed required at every stage— breeder farms, hatcheries, broiler farms, and layer units.
The feed mill processes raw ingredients such as maize, soybean meal, vitamins, minerals, and supplements into formulated feed tailored to the nutritional needs of birds at different growth phases.
Consistent, high-quality feed ensures healthy breeders for fertile eggs, strong chicks in hatcheries, fast-growing broilers for meat production, and productive layers for eggs.
By maintaining uniform feed quality and supply, the feed mill supports bird health, improves productivity, and ensures the smooth functioning of the entire poultry production and processing cycle.

Poultry Hatchery

A hatchery receives fertile eggs from breeder farms and incubates them under controlled temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
Eggs are placed in setters for incubation and later moved to hatchers for final hatching.
After chicks emerge, they are checked for quality, vaccinated if required, sorted, packed, and transported to broiler farms.
Strict hygiene, biosecurity, and monitoring ensure healthy, uniform day-old chicks for further rearing.

Poultry Broiler Farming

A broiler farm receives day-old chicks from the hatchery and raises them under controlled temperature, ventilation, lighting, and nutrition.
Birds are provided with balanced feed and clean water to ensure rapid and healthy growth.
Farmers monitor health, weight gain, and biosecurity throughout the growing cycle.
Once birds reach market weight, they are collected and transported to the processing plant for slaughter and further processing.

Poultry Layer Farming

Layer farming is an essential process in the poultry value chain because it ensures a continuous supply of high- quality eggs—both for consumption and for producing fertile eggs used in hatcheries.
In this system, hens are specially raised for egg production, beginning from chick rearing to maturity, where they lay eggs consistently under controlled lighting, nutrition, and hygiene conditions.
These eggs, especially fertilized ones, are crucial inputs for hatcheries, where they are incubated to produce day- old chicks.
Thus, layer farming supports the chicken processing cycle by providing the foundational raw material—eggs— needed to maintain regular production of chicks for broiler farming and, eventually, poultry processing plants.
